Two weeks ago we received the news. My brother-in-law was in the hospital. He and my husband had not spoken for almost seven years. The dispute was over something silly. Only silence lived between them. "I'll send a card," my husband shared, afriad if he called, his brother would refuse to speak with him. Finally, after some conversation about what is important in life and some hard reflection, he called. His brother spoke with a soft weak voice, "I'm sorry, please forgive me." My husband said, "I'm sorry, forgive me too." We received the news today, he has been moved to hospice.
Years ago, I decided to contact anyone I thought I might have offended or hurt over my time on this earth to say "I'm sorry." It continues today, as sometimes I forget the most important free thing in this world...kindness. SO, if there is anyone you need to forgive, or if an apology is in order, don't wait. Pick up the phone, get in your car, send a note. Don't waste the happiness that is ours to realize in each and every moment of the day. Let go and let God do the mending of your heart and feel how wonderful it is to be free!

Dearest Ronita,
"Thank You" for sharing this heart-full story of the power of Love and Forgiveness...a profound reminder to us All of What is really important and matters in this Life!!
Sending you, John and his brother abundant Love & Light...
Janet
